- Clean,wash and chop desi palak leaves (from our garden)
- In a wide pot take chopped palak, veggies, tomatoes and 1 cup of water.
- Boil and cook covered till palak saag and veggies become soft.
- Meanwhile fry the bodi in medium heat for 2 minutes and then add oil (odourless) fry till crunchy. Break into pieces.
- Add fried bodi pieces to the boiled palak and veggies.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add and allow to crackle the mustard seeds.
- Then fry chopped garlic and green chilli. Fry for a minute on medium flame.
- Add chopped onions and fry till translucent.
- Add the cooked palak and bodi to fried onion mixing well.
