It is made by deep-frying the bread slices in ghee and then soaking them in flavoured sugar syrup.

Steps to make Shahi Tukda Lasagna:
  1. Prepare milk syrup. In a saucepan add milk, cardamom powder, kewra water, sugar and mix well bring it to boil and cool on low flame for 8-10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl add corn flour water and whisk well. Now add the corn flour mixture into the milk and cook until milk syrup is thick and set aside.
  3. Prepare Khoya and nuts layer. In a pan add ghee and let it melt then add Koya and mix well add condensed milk, cream, almond cashew, pista mix well and cook for a minute and keep aside.
  4. In another Pan heat the oil and fry bread slices from both sides untill golden.
  5. Now it's time to assembling. In a serving dish add milk syrup then arrange the bread and again pour the milk syrup and spread it. Now spread the Khoya and nuts layer. Now again repeat the process. At last arrange the fried bread and garnish with chopped almond, and pista powder and cherry. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours and then serve it chilled.
