  6. Make ready 2 tbsp- peanut fried
  7. Make ready 2 tbsp - masala channa dal(fried)
  8. Make ready 4 tbsp-crushed papdis
  9. Take 2 tbsp- pudina chatuney
  10. Prepare 2 tbsp- sweet chatuney
  11. Take 2 tbsp-lasun chatuney
  12. Make ready 1/2 tsp - dry masala powder
  13. Prepare Coriander leaves, masala dal and Nylon sev garnishing

You can add other fried snacks like aloo bhujiya, bhujiya sev, ratlami sev, chivda etc. Bhel has a balance of sweet, salty, and spicy flavours. I must mention here that chutneys are the HERO ingredients in any chat recipe and bhel is no exception. Since these chutneys are wet in nature, this bhel is also called 'Geela bhel' where geela is the Hindi term for wet.

Instructions to make Geela bhel:
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and toss gently till all the ingredients are mixed well.
  2. Divide the bhel mixture into to equal portions Nylon sev, masala dal and coriander leaves evenly over it.
  3. Serve immediately yummy gella bhel.

I must mention here that chutneys are the HERO ingredients in any chat recipe and bhel is no exception. Since these chutneys are wet in nature, this bhel is also called 'Geela bhel' where geela is the Hindi term for wet. Here I have added raw mango which gives nice tangy taste to the bhel. If you do not have mango on hand or not in season then you can drizzle little lemon juice for that tangy taste. Sukha bhel, the best chaat for sudden hunger pangs.
