Instructions to make Halwasan:
  1. Firstly, heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan on low medium heat.
  2. Add gondh/edible gum and fry till it puffed up and turns golden brown. Take fried gondh out in a plate and keep aside.
  3. Now add 1 tbsp ghee in the same pan and saute daliya and rawa for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
  4. Add in the milk and boil it for 8-10 minutes.
  5. Add curd into it. Mix it well..switchoff the gas and keep the milk mixture aside.
  6. If you are using white sugar then you have to caramalise the sugar. For that, take another pan, heat it on low flame.
  7. Add sugar and let it caramalise. When sugar looks golden clear then add it into the milk mixture.
  8. But if you are using brown sugar then no need to caramalise it, just add as it is in the milk mixture.
  9. Now cook the mixture on low flame and keep stirring till all liquid vaporised.
  10. Now switchoff the flame and keep the mixture aside. Let it cool down completely.
  11. Now take the small small portions from the mixture and shape them into desired shape or can be set it like fudge.
  12. Garnish with chopped almonds and serve😊
